Did you know that the Government have committed to a coastal path – a new National Trail around all England’s open coast?
The section between Sea Palling and Weybourne has now been approved and once the legal requirements are complete the new public rights of access will come into force on this stretch and bring walkers within a couple of miles of Dairy Barns and all the delights of this wonderful part of Norfolk.
Don’t forget also that part of the Weavers Way walk covers Stalham to Great Yarmouth and takes in Hickling (going through the Norfolk Wildlife Trust National Nature Reserve) before going on to Potter Heigham, Thurne, Acle, Halvergate, Berney Arms and finishing in Great Yarmouth. So Dairy Barns is a great place to stay if you’re planning on pulling on your hiking boots to explore.
