Ticket £12.This 1 hour 45 minutes walking tour in Cromer looks at architect George Skipper’s legacy in the Norfolk seaside town. He worked on projects in Cromer from the late 1880s through to the 1930s. Skipper designed seven hotels, notably the Hotel de Paris, overlooking Cromer Pier and the Cliftonville and Sandcliff on Runton Road. Horsey Seal Boat Trips
Boats Trips from Sea Palling Beach, dates and times vary depending on the tide. Contact them on 07759331641 or 07968798700. There are a large number of adult seals on the beach at the moment and the boats are a great way to see them without disturbing them. They also offer Angling and Lobster trips and Sea Kayak Hire.

These stunning coastal gardens re-open for the season on 1 March and are then open Wednesdays to Sunday and bank holidays, 12 til 5.30pm. A beautiful, 32-acre modern garden containing many garden rooms with herbaceous borders, gravel gardens, sub-tropical gardens, a box parterre, sunken rose garden, Mediterranean garden, Desert Wash and a large woodland garden — there really is so much to explore, along with a nice tea room for some lunch or refreshments.

Enjoy the quieter part of the Broads by hiring a picnic boat from Martham Ferry. You can motor to Hickling and Horsey Broads, the boats are electric so great for the broads environment and much quieter than a diesel day boat. As they open all winter they have heaters on the boats to keep the chill off, but still wrap up warm!
The Honing Daffodil Mile, Daffodil Day 17 March NR28 9AB
The annual ‘golden mile’ which fringes Long Lane in the village of Honing is something of a favourite local secret. Located just a few hops and skips from North Walsham, the village is holding a Daffodiul Day on Sun 17 March, from 11am to 4pm, with vintage tractor rides for people hoping to tour their beautiful blooms.

Heydon Tea Rooms open Wednesday to Sunday 10 – 4, NR11 6RE
Heydon Tea rooms and village is about 50 minutes from here but only 10 minutes from National Trust Blickling Hall, so if you are heading over to Aylsham and Blickling Hall it is only a few miles further on. Heydon is a delightful discovery, off the beaten track but with a collection of small artisan businesses, the village is an idyllic example of unspoiled, rural England. You can wander through the village, sit on the village green and walk in the park where the main hall is located. There is a pub, tearooms, bakery and artisan stores. When youu arrive you will see signs for the village car-park (free) please use this as the village roads are quite small. We went to the tea rooms in late February, and it was wonderful, perfect to eat in or grab a coffee and cake for your walk. The interior is beautiful, the staff attentive with such amazing and pretty cakes and goodies!
