We welcomed Tamsin and Jason to celebrate their wedding day with us earlier this month. Family and friends started arriving Friday afternoon and a frenzy of bunting hanging and decorating the spring-themed barn began. Everyone headed out for supper at the nearby pub before returning to bed for an early night. First to arrive Saturday morning were Julie and Jasmine who were responsible for making sure all the bridal party had perfect hair and make up for the day ahead.
April showers played their part early in the day but just in time for the bride to make her big entrance the rain stopped. The highlight of the ceremony was the appearance of “Los Musicos” a latin and salsa band who played from the gallery while the bride and groom signed the register, a complete surprise for the groom, organised by the bride and her mum. The Pimms flowed after the ceremony, followed by speeches and the wedding breakfast which was our Mediterranean Platter, followed by Chocolate Brownie Stack or creamy Lemon Cheesecake. The bride and groom then headed off with Richard Emerson, their photographer, to the beach for some early evening shots at Sea Palling. The cafe at the beach even gave them ice creams with 99’s! More guests started arriving for the evening party and danced the night away to Saturn Entertainments DJ and enjoyed one of our famous tasty Hog Roasts. Congratulations to Tamsin and Jason from all at Dairy Barns on your special day!
