Dairy Barns is always such a happy place filled with joy and happiness with weddings, parties and those escaping to the country to chill and, of course, all the staff who love what we do looking after our guests and making sure everything runs smoothly.
But this week was rather sad as we said goodbye to George who had been part of our family for 14 years. We remember the day we went to the Rescue Centre looking for a terrier and somehow came back with George, the Lab/Collie cross. He’d been with us before we started the B&B business and all those guests coming to stay and before any of our children – but he took it all in his stride and just gave a gentle bark to remind you who was really in charge.
We’ll miss him.
