Booking Terms & Useful Information

Your booking will be refunded or rescheduled if you cannot stay due to COVID-19 restrictions. Normal booking terms do not apply.
The prices we quote for bed and breakfast are per room per night based on two adults sharing, including breakfast for 2. A single occupancy discount is applied to bookings in regular rooms
Stay 5 nights or more in the bed and breakfast and receive a 10% discount on these prices.
Check-in to accommodation is from 4pm onwards. Check out from the bed and breakfast rooms is by 10.45am, check out from the Holiday Cottages is by 10am on the day of departure
We can not accept infants under the age of 2 in the bed and breakfast. We welcome babies and children of all ages in our cottages.
We welcome children (aged 2 – 16 years) in all our rooms and in our extra special rooms except Swallows Nest and Rambling Rose, where we cannot accommodate children. Maximum of 2 children sharing in our Extra Special B&B rooms and 1 child sharing our regular rooms.
Children occupying an adult’s bed will pay the full adult rate.
By prior arrangement, well-behaved dogs are welcome in Cowman’s Cottage and Dune View Cottage. Dogs are not able to stay in the bed and breakfast rooms.
Payment Policy
For holiday cottage bookings, a deposit of 25% is required, and full payment is due no later than 6 weeks before arrival
For bed and breakfast bookings, a deposit of £50 is taken for bookings under the value of £300. For bookings over the value of £300, a deposit of £100 is taken. Full payment is taken on the day of check-in. Card payment is our preferred method. We do not accept cheques.

Cancellation Policy
When booking bed and breakfast accommodation directly with us, if you cancel or modify up to 7 days before arrival, no fee will be charged. Deposits will not be refunded but may be transferred at the discretion of Dairy Barns.
If you cancel or modify your reservation later or do not show up for the booking, we reserve the right to charge you in full.
If you have booked via a 3rd party gift voucher, your booking is non-transferable and non-refundable
When booking a holiday cottage, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel after the balance has been paid in full, we do not offer a refund unless we can re-let the dates you had booked, an administration charge applies to any refunds.
We advise all guests to take out travel insurance
General
For those with mobility requirements, we provide an accessibility statement on our website that offers more information on our facilities and restrictions.
Customer records are confidential and, therefore, will not be divulged to any third party unless legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. We will not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail.
We reserve the right to terminate any agreement for any reason, including ending services already underway.
Dairy Barns reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit, and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms.
